Accommodation

It’s a good idea to start thinking about where you will live as early as possible. You will need to arrange your accommodation before arriving in the UK, and it should be close to the university so that travelling to campus is easy and convenient.

UHE UK is not a provider for local student accommodation, but below is a list of accommodation providers you may want to use:

Homestay provides a room with a local host within the comfort and safety of their home.  Hosts are vetted for their care and understanding of students as well as providing a clean and comfortable home. To apply for homestay and more information on prices visit the Hosts International website and submit an enquiry with your dates of stay or fill in the online application form.

Student.com

Student.com, one of the world’s leading marketplace for student housing. They have a wide and carefully selected range of rooms that were built and are managed specifically for students, including private lets for rooms in shared houses and flat shares etc. This gives students the power to explore and compare a variety of rooms across different neighbourhoods so that they can make the right choice.

Private Rental Providers

You may consider looking at private accommodation providers, such as RightMove, Zoopla and Spareroom in the surrounding areas of Greenwich, Woolwich, Welling, Bexleyheath, Charlton, Stratford, Canary Wharf, Bermondsey, Canada Water, Lewisham, Hither Green, Shoreditch, Bethnal Green and Hackney.

UK-based students - Studies at UHE UK can be financed with a student loan via Student Finance England. Reach out to our admissions team for details about scholarships available to you. International students - For undergraduate study there is a scholarship of £4,950 per year of study. Scholarships are automatically applied.

For your CAS to be released, you may need to attend a pre CAS interview carried out by Oxford International Education Group. If a credibility interview is required, it will be mentioned in your CAS Shield portal, which can be activated once you pay your deposit, or you receive your unconditional offer letter. If you have already attended your pre CAS interview and have been successful, then your agent will be able to request for your CAS. Credibility Interviews are valid for 6 months, however if you decide to apply for another OIEG centre then you may be required to take the interview again.
