The BSc Business Management with Foundation will give you knowledge into the core areas of corporate life, including managing people, operations, logistics, marketing, finance, and the role of ethical management. You will learn to apply analytical tools like SWOT, PESTLE, and Porter’s Five Forces to assess business environments and identify opportunities and challenges. Through workshops and seminars, you will explore practical topics such as cost behaviour, breakeven analysis, market research, recruitment, and globalisation. The module also covers product life cycle and business portfolio management, helping you apply theory to real world business issues. By the end, you will develop critical skills to evaluate business operations and engage in problem-solving discussions, preparing you for the challenges of the business world.

You will explore globalisation, objectives of organisations, and environments such as economic growth, international trade, and global industries, using analytical frameworks like PESTLE, Porter’s 5 Forces, and supply/demand analysis.

This module provides you with a comprehensive introduction to the core marketing concepts and the essential role of data in shaping marketing decisions. You will explore key topics including segmentation, targeting and positioning (STP), the marketing mix, and customer value, gaining a solid foundation in how organisations identify and respond to consumer needs.

This module helps you understand the challenges organisations face in a changing world influenced by climate change, social and political developments, technology, and workplace shifts at local and global levels. It provides frameworks for decision-making involving all stakeholders, focusing on sustainability, business ethics, social change, climate change, and active citizenship.

This module covers the principles and practices of project management, with a focus on entrepreneurial and early-stage ventures. You will develop the capacity to manage uncertainty, adapt quickly, and deliver value through flexible but disciplined approaches.

This Level 5 module is a key component of the BSc in International Business, exploring the dynamics of international business with a focus on emerging markets (EM) and the complex impact of globalisation.

This module centres on the identification, evaluation and shaping of opportunities within dynamic market environments, with a strong emphasis on problem-solution fit and customer value creation.

The module is designed to introduce you to how organisations acquire talent, the sources through which talent is garnered and how this aligns with the HR strategy which in turn integrates with the overall organisational strategy.

You will learn how to track online consumer behaviour, analyse digital journeys, and uncover insights using GA4. You will use Excel for data handling and analysis, and Power BI to support data visualisation.

This module centres on the identification, evaluation and shaping of opportunities within dynamic market environments, with a strong emphasis on problem-solution fit and customer value creation.

This module is designed to equip you with a comprehensive understanding of how Organisational Development and Total Reward Management drive knowledge-based competitive advantage for business by enhancing employee learning and development, performance, and organisational resilience.

This module will introduce you to the evolving world of digital marketing and will equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to plan and execute effective online campaigns. You will explore key areas across owned, earned, and paid media including website design, content marketing and SEO, email marketing, social media, influencer outreach, and paid advertising.

In an ever-changing world, organisations must make strategic choices based on solid analyses and decision-making processes. This module adopts an innovative teaching approach to illustrate how strategic management theories and models can be applied in different contexts and how they inform decision-making.

The Roehampton Live Project is a transformative capstone module designed to bridge the gap between academic study and professional practice. As the final part of the undergraduate experience, this 30-credit module provides you with an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting, developing strategic solutions to real-world business challenges.

Careers project skills (consultancy) is an intensive 6-week taught module designed to equip you with the essential competencies needed for professional consultancy practice. This module serves as the skills-based foundation for the concurrent Roehampton Live Project, providing you with theoretical frameworks, practical tools, and professional capabilities required to deliver high-quality consultancy services to real clients.

This module develops essential quantitative skills, financial theory, product knowledge, and cognitive ability for the capital markets investment industry.

We will reflect on the role of culture in attracting and retaining talent, and its impact on employees’ engagement, job satisfaction and productivity. We will ask if it is possible to create fairer, more diverse, more inclusive and more sustainable workplaces, where employees feel valued and respected.

This module provides you with a solid understanding of how international trade functions in today’s interconnected global economy. It explores key theories of trade, international business strategies, trade policy, legal and institutional frameworks, and the practicalities of managing cross-border transactions.

Building on concepts introduced in earlier modules, you will be challenged to take an original or refined business idea and transform it into a fully developed and professionally presented business proposition.

UK Level 3 with minimum 48 UCAS tariff points (>64 UCAS), or Access qualification must have achieved a minimum of 45 credits, or EU/Overseas qualifications equivalent to UK level 3.

We welcome applications from students 21+ who do not match the standard entry requirements but who can demonstrate willingness and commitment to studying this subject, and who can evidence academic, professional or vocational experience in a related field.

English Language
English Language: IELTS 5.5 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component (>5.5. overall and 5.0 in each skill) or Grade C or above in English Language or 4 in the GCSE 1 – 9 grading scale.

Students who do not hold any proof of English can take our own internal online English test.

Student finance

Studies at UHE UK can be financed with a student loan via Student Finance England.

Before enrolling, students must have applied for a student finance loan. You are required to provide evidence of your student loan by providing one of the following documents:

  • Proof of submission – Proof of submitted application e.g. a screenshot of your online application portal or a post office receipt confirming the application has been sent
  • SFE letter – Correspondence from Student Finance indicating that your application is under review
  • Approved finance – A Confirmation Letter from Student Finance showing your application has been approved referred to as a Letter of Entitlement

Students must demonstrate consistent engagement across all scheduled sessions, including both online and on-campus classes.
