Professional Excellence Accelerator (PEA)

As part of the BSc Business Management programme, international students commencing in June 2026 will complete the Professional Excellence Accelerator (PEA)—a dedicated professional development module embedded within the programme structure. The PEA is designed to strengthen engagement, confidence and employability from day one, and will appear on your official University transcript despite being non-credit bearing.

The PEA supports your transition into UK higher education and the workplace through structured, face-to-face workshops focused on professional communication, UK academic expectations, career readiness, digital and workplace skills, and professional identity. Attendance is mandatory for all sessions, and participation is formally assessed for engagement tracking (students are not required to pass and it does not affect progression).

This is part of the UHE UK commitment to a high-support, high-engagement student experience—so you graduate not only with a degree, but with the professional behaviours and confidence employers expect.
